Internship Information
The application period for the Arkansas Governor’s Internship Program for Summer 2021 is OPEN from Monday, January 25, 2021 to Sunday, March 7, 2021.
This select group of young men and women from across the Natural State dedicate their time, talents, energy, and service to the office of Governor. These committed citizens become a part of the Governor’s team. The assignments given to an intern on any given day could include but are not limited to researching a topic, managing incoming inquiries, attending legislative interim committee meetings, and writing memos.
While the interns’ responsibilities and tasks vary by department, all interns are united through weekly events including a bi-weekly speaker series and small group meetings exploring different policy aspects of the Executive Office of the Governor. Most importantly, the internship experience includes an emphasis on serving others with a service project organized and fulfilled by interns and selected staff members.
All application materials, including recommendations, must be submitted on or before the application deadline. Please read all of the following instructions and see Internship FAQs before starting your application.
